Inserting Images in a Campaign is VERY easy providing you first insert a Template to create a suitable structure – one that caters for Text and/or Images and automatically inserts the mandatory Footer URLs and Physical Address details in the most presentable and correct format. All Pre-loaded SendReach Templates provide such a structure.
Once inserted using the “Insert Image” Icon in the Campaign Editor Main Template Window (as below and having first inserted at least one of the available Templates) the image can be positioned using the normal HTML attributes for Left, Right and Center.
Many of the Templates for Newsletters etc. include specific Image Placeholders.
The Insert Image Setup Window is as below. To add the url for your image:-
To set the url of your destination page, and have in open in a new window:-
NOTE: Gmail and others – but primarily Gmail take note of the percentage of the content of any “bulk” email that is an image/s (bulk being the category all ESPs have to label emails with in the email headers)
If image/s represent more than 18/20% of the total email it is taken as being indicative of Spam as many Spammers use images to camouflage spammy text.
Gmail have another nasty feature we all need to avoid – any emails with more than 18% image/s are “clipped” – i.e. only a part of the email is displayed, usually just the first two or so lines of text, by default and the recipient has to click on “see more” to see the remainder of the email – obviously not a desirable situation.
